I spent ages this week looking for inspiration, I found Denmark really hard. I kept finding things I liked the look of, but then changing my mind.
I looked at food, over here in the UK we have Danish bacon and Danish butter. I looked at Beer..obviously lol... I researched architecture and churches, then I went looking at archaeology, and ended up reading about various ancient but well preserved bodies, some still in their clothes.
While they were all very interesting I just couldn't make myself do a card, so I ended up going for an easy option, which am not totally happy with, but i just wasn't feeling this weeks country at all.
I went for Thumbelina, a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, first published in 1835 in Denmark.
and for my page I went for the Lego logo. I remember having lego as a child, 35 years ago, and i made sure my son had plenty of lego too when he was young.
The Lego Group began in the workshop of Ole Kirk Christiansen (7 April 1891 – 11 March 1958), a carpenter from Billund, Denmark, who began making wooden toys in 1932. In 1934, his company came to be called "Lego", from the phrase leg godt, which means "play well".
